It’s all good for a perfect eater. I note that the pie was partially hidden……..
Have you ever had bacon pie? I have not. But it sounds good.
This year I am going to have our butcher smoke an entire shoulder of my deer, about 15 lbs. I will have them remove the bone. I will have them stuff the large roast with mushrooms, croutons etc then tie the shoulder together. Then so it does not dry out I will have it wrapped in Haens best bacon. Then—let the smoking begin.
The perfect side would be Chucks potato salad. For dessert we could have some pie from the farmers market.
No Daisy, there will not be BBQ sauce with Rhubarb, but you can bring some.
